Directional and historical information signage has recently been added to Old Trolley Line. In addition, bikers along the Manhan Bike Trail can now park their bikes at the entrance to Acadia’s portion of Old Trolley Line and include a nice hike into their exercise regimen.
In late August a bridge over a dry creek bed was also installed. Thank You to all the volunteers who helped lift and place the two 500 pound girders into place!

PCT set up a informational booth at Cultural Chaos this year. Marty Klein along with friend Julian set up a couple of enlarged photos at the Brass Cat. One was of the trail and bench at Mutter’s Field. The presence of the Trust at the event sparked interest among the community, some of whom expressed interest in volunteer work for the Trust.
On Saturday morning , April 7th, a small work crew cleared invasives (multiflora rose and Oriental Bittersweet plus some wild grape vines) from around the apple trees at the open meadow area near the Hampton condos at Pomeroy Meadows. Thank You to everyone that participated!
Marty Klein, PCT board member, with Tom Conner, Vice President of Florence Savings Bank. The bank endowed the Trust with a $5000 check for maintenance and stewardship of the Mutter’s Field accessible Trail property. Many thanks to Florence Savings Bank for their generous gift.
